Michigan 24 - 2012 (24 Hour Endurance Race)

The second annual "Michigan 24" endurance race was held March 31 - April 1, 2012 at Clover Leaf Raceway.  This is a grueling event designed to push cars and racers to the limits of performance.  Team Slot Car Corner (SCC) successfully defended their title and set a new distance record for the event covering 262+ miles over the course of 24 hours shattering the previous mark of 255 miles.  The winning car used Super Tires® mounted on CB Design™ 15x12mm 5-Spoke Racing Wheels to set the record (click here for more information).  While not mandated, Super Tires® were used by all teams in the event.

Michigan 24 - 2011 (24 Hour Endurance Race)

The inaugural "Michigan 24" endurance race was held April 2-3, 2011 at Clover Leaf Raceway.  Team Slot Car Corner (SCC) won the event and set a new world distance record for 1/32 hard body plastic chassis cars.  Team SCC covered 255+ miles over the course of 24 hours shattering the previous mark of 243 miles.  The winning car used Super Tires® mounted on CB Design™ 15x12mm 5-Spoke wheels to set the record.  While not mandated, Super Tires® were used by all teams in the event.

Chicago 24 (24 Hour Endurance Race)

The inaugural "Chicago 24" endurance race was held March 6-7, 2010 at Mid-America Raceway.  Team Slingshot, made up of racers from the greater Atlanta, GA area, won the event and set a new world distance record for 1/32 plastic chassis cars.  Team Slingshot covered 233.3 miles over the course of 24 hours shattering the previous mark of 223 miles.  The winning car used Super Tires® mounted on CB Design™ 17x11mm LMP wheels to set the record.  Super Tires® were also used by the second place team.

Proxy Races

Proxy races such as The Race Across America (RAA), the CanAm Proxy Race, and the Pony Wars Proxy Race are the ultimate test of a car's performance and durability.  Many of today's best 1/32 slot car builders and racers from all over the world submit entries into these prestigious races.  The cars are then raced on a wide variety of tracks, both wood and plastic, across North America.  Rules for these events allow car builders to use a wide variety of tires yet cars using Super Tires® have consistently dominated these events finishing at or near the top of each class year-after-year!
